The Constitutional Council cancels the election of two deputies

A Renaissance deputy and a Nupes deputy saw the results of their election annulled, due to malfunctions in the electronic voting process, thereby invalidating their election as a deputy to the National Assembly.

The Constitutional Council canceled this Friday, January 20 the elections in June 2022 of the deputies Éléonore Caroit (Renaissance) and Karim Ben Cheïkh (Nupes) “for malfunctions” during the electronic votingwhich are added to three that he had already invalidated early December.
